Missing Woman, Reportedly Presumed Dead, Extradited to Texas

54e18673a8642.imageHARRISON COUNTY — Christina Davison, who was reported missing in May and arrested in Kentucky earlier this month, was extradited back to Harrison County and had a bond set for $100,000 Sunday, according to Lt. Jay Webb. The Longview News-Journal reports, the Kilgore woman was transported Saturday to the Harrison County Jail in Marshall and faces a charge of possession of a controlled substance. Authorities spent months looking for Davison and believed she had been killed. She was arrested Feb. 4 in Lexington, Kentucky, and officials said they believe she was trying to start a new life.

The drug charge that Davison faces is a state jail felony, punishable by 180 days in jail, a fine not to exceed $2,000 or both, according to the Texas Penal Code. Kilgore police are looking for answers now that Davison is back in Texas.
