Former Gregg County DA Arrested

LONGVIEW – Former Gregg County District Attorney Robert Riter Foster has been arrested on a variety of charges. He was arrested Tuesday for driving while intoxicated, unlawfully carrying weapon and possessing a controlled substance. His bonds total $22,000. KETK reports Foster graduated from the Texas Tech University School of Law, J.D., in 1976, is a member of the State Bar of Texas, and was a recipient of the Thomas Jefferson Award in 1982.
