ETMC Now Offers Express Care for Non-Emergency Needs
Posted/updated on: March 4, 2015 at 2:52 pmTYLER â ETMC First Physicians is now operating an express clinic offering walk-in urgent care at ETMC South Broadway, according to a news release. âExpress clinic care means no appointments and no waiting behind patients with life-threatening emergencies,â said Dr. Steven Cooley, ETMC First Physician. âYou can get fast service for minor injuries and illnesses such as broken bones, lacerations, urinary tract infections, rashes, fevers, coughs, colds, headache, sore throat, earache or flu-like symptoms.â
The express clinic is located at 6210 S. Broadway and will be open from 8 a.m.-6 p.m., Monday-Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Any patient with a need is welcome and you donât need to be established with an ETMC physician to seek treatment, according to the news release. ETMC still offers a 24-hour emergency center and ETMC First Physicians Clinic at South Broadway.
âPatients still are encouraged to visit their regular physician, but if your physician is busy with scheduled appointments and canât see you for your urgent care, then you could seek treatment at our express clinic,â said Dr. Cooley, who will serve patients at this location.
