Meghan Dodd, 27, noticed a blind spot in the center of her vision when she was 18. It grew and a year later she was declared legally blind. She’s starting to drive again with the help of bioptics. It’s a rectangular box attached to the front of her frames which acts like a magnifier. Now Meghan, who works at the East Texas Light House for the blind, is about to get her license again and she’s thrilled. There are some restrictions. She can drive only during the day and go no faster than 45mph.
