Three Juvenile Escapees Caught in Marshall

MARSHALL — Marshall police captured three juveniles Wednesday afternoon who were far from the detention center they escaped. According to KETK, police say the detainees left the Gulf Coast Trade Center in New Waverly. At around 3:42 p.m., the Marshall Police Department learned the juveniles were believed to be in the area of the 1300 block of W. Pinecrest. Officers headed to the location stopped to speak with a person at the corner of Calvert and Scenic Loop. The juvenile was in turn arrested for escape. A short time later, two other escapees were caught in the Brookshire’s parking lot. The juveniles were transferred to the Willoughby Juvenile Detention Center.
