Angelina County Judge Wes Suiter told The Lufkin Daily News that a lineman at the Angelina County Airport misidentified Edd Hendee’s Cessna 421B aircraft and filled it with the wrong fuel. The aircraft made a crash landing April 17 beside U.S. 59 near Diboll, ending up in a grassy area. Hendee and his two passengers suffered minor injuries. Hendee is a former radio talk show host in Houston, where he also owns a restaurant.
