According to KETK, the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office says Marcus Robinson Johnson, 33, of Addison, Texas, turned himself in to the Caddo Correctional Center on Wednesday. He’s charged with identity theft and criminal conspiracy. Sheriff Steve Prator said Johnson and nine others were involved in a theft scheme that used the personal information of more than 1,200 people to open fraudulent cable accounts. The two head conspirators face 107 counts of identity theft and one count of criminal conspiracy. A third person, Valerie Nicole Nichols, 33, of Pleasant View, Tennessee, is allegedly responsible for giving Comcast customers information to the thieves.
