June 4 Smith County Road and Bridge Report

thumb_smithcounty-sealTYLER — The Smith County Road and Bridge Department has compiled an updated report of the status of county roads and bridges in the process of being repaired or replaced or waiting for parts to be repaired or replaced. Most of the roads were damaged due to the storms throughout the county last month. But two additional roads in Precinct 1 that will require culverts replacement were not affected by recent weather events, according to Smith County Engineer Frank Davis. Also included in the list are four county bridges being replaced by the Texas Department of Transportation.

1 CR 445 Road closed to thru traffic, 60” x 60’ culvert to be replaced.
2 CR 445 Road closed to thru traffic, 54” x 40’ culvert to be replaced.
3 CR 4119 Road closed to thru traffic, 60” x 50’ culvert to be replaced.
4 CR 4114 Road open to traffic, 54” x 50’ culvert to be replaced.
5 CR 4125 Road open to traffic, 84” x 50’ culvert to be replaced.
6 CR 4129 Road closed to thru traffic. Wooden bridge damaged.
7 CR 4181 Culvert replaced (24” x 50’). Road open to traffic.
8 CR 499 Road closed to traffic. Culvert replacement pending.

9 CR 496 Road closed to thru traffic, 3 96” x 50’ culverts to be replaced.
10 CR 42 Culvert replaced (90” x 60’). Road open to traffic.
11 CR 1148 Road closed to thru traffic, 54” x 40’ culvert to be replaced.
12 CR 3107 Road open to traffic, box culvert to be replaced with 78” x 60’ culvert.
13 CR 3168 Road open to traffic, 2 36” x 50’ culverts to be replaced.
14 CR 3123 Road open to traffic, 36” x 75’ culvert to be replaced.
15 CR 292 Road open to traffic, 2 42” x 40’ culverts to be replaced.
16 CR 450 Road open to traffic, 2 72” x 50’ culverts to be replaced.
