Six Hospitalized Following Smith County Accident

SMITH COUNTY — A major accident in Smith County Saturday sends six people to the hospital. It happened around 4:15 on Toll Road 49, near Frankston Highway. According to KETK, an 18-wheeler ran into the back of the car. The ages and conditions of the injured are unknown at this time but officials said none of the injuries are fatal. Noonday VFD, DPS, and EMS responded to the scene. Traffic was backed up in the area.
