Lindale Burglaries Lead to Two Arrests

Trae Dewey Nathan HansonLINDALE — Because a suspected burglar returned to the scene of the crime, two persons have been arrested as a result of some Lindale burglaries. Arrested were Trae Dewey Nathan Hanson, 29, and Krista Lynn McLemore, 33. Hanson is accused of some burglaries that occurred on County Road 431 out of Lindale. Because of recent burglaries, a property owner placed a game camera on his property in an attempt to identify the thief. When a suspect returned to the property, he was photographed by the camera. It even recorded the truck he was driving and the license plate. Investigators were able to trace Hanson to a home off County Road 450 out of Lindale, where he was said to be living with McLemore, his girlfriend.

When deputies went to the address, they stopped a car that was attempting to leave. McLemore was one of two women in the vehicle. A check showed she was wanted by Lindale police for Theft (State Jail Felony) and also Theft (Class B) out of Leon County, Texas. McLemore was taken into custody.

Officers waited for Hanson to return. About 20 minutes later a truck arrived with two men. When a sheriff’s department unit approached the vehicle, a passenger jumped from the vehicle and started to run away. After a short foot chase, the man was taken into custody. It turned out to be Hanson, who was arrested. A search of the house turned up property that was known to be taken from the burglaries. Hanson has been charged with two counts of burglary of a building.
