Six Arrested in Alleged Robbery Attempt

LONGVIEW — Six persons have been arrested following a report of an attempted robbery at a Longview motel. It happened Saturday afternoon at Motel 6 near Interstate Highway 20. Police tell KETK they received a call about a robbery attempt involving weapons. When they arrived at the scene, they contacted a SWAT team as a safety precaution. The suspects were initially detained for questioning, then arrested. The investigation is continuing.
