Pine Tree School Board Member Resigns

LONGVIEW — Pine Tree School Board member Charley Peck is resigning. School trustees accepted his resignation at a meeting last night. The resignation is effective immediately. Peck cited as reasons for his actions a new job and what he called personal reasons. He is facing a variety of legal issues, including a case concerning a $20,000 unpaid bank loan. Peck’s spot on the school board will be filled with an election next May.
