vlcsnap-2015-08-13-12h43m08s129_1439487822431_3820689_ver1.0JACKSONVILLE — Employees at Century Industrial Coatings are back at work after the industrial plant just south of Jacksonville exploded early Wednesday morning. KETK reports no one was inside when one of the buildings went up in flames. Investigators are still trying to figure out what caused the explosion. The Assistant Director of Sales and Marketing for Century Industrial Coatings, Justin Rains, said the company is trying to move forward. “We’re leaning on our industry partners as we put together some backup plans,” said Rains. “From there, we are going to start to ramp up our production and get back on our feet.”

Rains said the company is working closely with the TCEQ, which was on site Wednesday, and also working with environmental attorneys. “We have been told that all of our efforts are on par, and things are going very, very well in that department,” said Rains. The building that exploded is reportedly the only structure on the property with damage.
