Consulting Groups Help Implement CBD Measure
Posted/updated on: August 15, 2015 at 4:09 pmAUSTIN — A measure co-sponsored by Tyler State Senator Kevin Eltife (pictured) continues to move forward. The state’s legalization of cannabis oil for epilepsy patients has opened the door for the marijuana industry. Now that Texas will manufacture the marijuana extract, it will need licensed growers and manufacturers. This is where consulting groups like the Medcan Foundation come in. That organization’s holding seminars all around Texas to help companies land marijuana growing contracts. Medcan’s Dante Pacazo says, “In our seminars, you may have a grower that doesn’t have any money — but you may have an entrepreneur that has a tremendous amount of money.” He says his group started 10 years ago in Texas — and since the law was signed, things are heating up.
