That’s according to KETK and the Longview Neww-Journal. “It involved numerous e-mails and texts back and forth,” Cass County District Attorney Randal Lee said Wednesday, regarding the allegations. “She was a teenager.” According to jail records, the defendant, 42-year-old Danny Michael Duncan, has a Jefferson address, 139 County Road 1640 N. He was arrested by the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office. As of Wednesday evening, Duncan was still in the custody of the Harrison County Jail under a $25,000 bond. “We will pick him up as soon as possible,” said Lee.

The city of Marshall’s human resources records show that Duncan worked for the Marshall Fire Department from Aug. 7, 2000, until his termination on Sept. 9, 2005. Marcus Sandifer TxDOT’s public information officer confirmed that Duncan has been an inspector with the agency’s Marshall area office for three years. “We cannot comment on his job status at this time,” Sandifer said of Duncan’s status, in light of his arrest.
