A jury on Wednesday found Joey Huddleston, 35, guilty. The former Foster Middle School teacher was sentenced Thursday morning to 20 years in prison. That’s the maximum sentence.
Huddleston was arrested last March on East Loop 281 after police say he made arrangements to meet with a 15-year-old boy on Airline Road. Police said Huddleston was aware of the boy’s age before the meeting. Authorities say he had been communicating with the boy through online messages and traveled to meet the boy “with the intent of engaging in sexual conduct.”
