Missing Longview Teen Sought

LONGVIEW – Longview police are asking for the public’s help in locating a runaway teenager. Darah Janaye Elam is said to be a 14 year old black girl who is 5’2” tall and weighs around 145 pounds. She was last seen wearing a school uniform style outfit that was either a red or white polo style shirt, and blue or khaki pants. She was last seen on February 12 at a Longview school.
Darah is still believed to be in this area and may be near the Johnson Street Apartments or the Bertha Drive area with an adult male. Longview police say they would like to remind those who might be assisting a runaway that they can be charged with a crime if they assist a runaway that is the object of a police search.
