Troopers Investigate Early Morning Wreck

SMITH COUNTY — The Department of Public Safety is investigating an accident that has left one person injured. According to KETK, the one-vehicle wreck happened just before 6:00 Monday morning in the 12000 block of Highway 31 West, near Texas Farmers Bureau Insurance. The preliminary investigation suggests a man drove his truck off the road and into a tree. He was hospitalized with unknown injuries.
