Two People Reported Missing in Nacogdoches County

NACOGDOCHES – The Nacogdoches County sheriff’s department is looking for two missing persons in separate cases. According to a news release, both persons could be in danger because of physical and mental health issues. They are identified as Alan David Schwiem, 61, and Noemi Sanchez,33. Schwiem was last seen on Tuesday and Sanchez was last seen March 10th.
Schwiem left his house in Douglass shortly before 6:00 Tuesday evening when he went to the dollar store in Alto. He has not been heard from since that time. Schwiem is a diabetic and has not had any medication since that time. He is 6 feet tall, weighs about 200 pounds, and has light brown hair. He was last seen blue jeans and a shirt. Schwiem was last seen driving a 1992 blue and silver Chevrolet pickup truck with license plate number GWT-9002.
The search for Sanchez has focused on Del Rio. Investigators discovered she had bought a bus ticket to Del Rio. She person she was going to visit has not seen her. Investigators say they are concerned for her welfare because of her mental capabilities and her medical condition. She is a diabetic and sometimes suffers from depression.
Sanchez is 5-foot-6 inches tall and weighs about 124 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink sweater and blue jeans.
