Man Indicted in Parents’ Murders

LONGVIEW — A Gladewater man’s murder case will now go to trial after a Gregg County grand jury indicted him on Friday. According to KETK, the Gregg County Sheriff’s Office says Casey Lansdale, 41, is accused of murdering his parents in January. The bodies of Raye and Charles Lansdale, both 68, were discovered during a welfare check by police. After interviewing the suspect, police arrested him and charged him with murder. He was booked into jail on $1 million bond. Judicial records showed Casey had a history of family violence.
