Nacogdoches Man Busted for Drugs

NACOGDOCHES — A traffic stop has turned into a drug bust in Nacogdoches County. It happened around 11:45 Monday night. A sheriff’s deputy stopped an SUV for a traffic violation on County Road 525. The driver, who appeared nervous, gave permission to search his vehicle. That led to the discovery of 40 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 8 grams of cocaine and Xanax pills. Street value of the drugs was placed at $4,500. Charged with two counts of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance, was 30 year old Travis Bailey of Nacogdoches.
