Authorities Seek Driver in High-Speed Chase

EAST TEXAS — Multiple law enforcement officials are searching for the person involved in a multi-county high speed chase Tuesday. KETK reports the chase started in Hunt County and ended in northeast Smith County. The Smith County Sheriff’s office says the driver of a motorcycle, wanted out of Hunt County, had been seen in the area. Officers chased the person on FM 14 but lost the motorcyclist on Interstate 20. Speeds reportedly reached more than 100 miles an hour.
