East Texan is One of 3 Killed in Dallas Wreck

DALLAS (AP/STAFF) ― Three Dallas Baptist University students, including one from Smith County, have been killed in a Dallas accident. The Dallas Baptist University administration identified one of the dead as Will Smith of Bullard. The three died after the pickup truck in which they were riding clipped a curb and launched into a utility pole near Mountain Creek Lake in Dallas. The truck came to rest on its top. The crash happened about 3:00 Saturday morning on Mountain Creek Parkway.

The other students wee identified as Justin Schubert of Cleburne, and Djordje (DJ) Sarenac of Belgrade, Serbia. A prayer service was held Sunday night at the university. The school said they have grief counselors available for the campus.
