Graduation Ceremonies and Rain

TYLER — The Tyler school district is making contingency plans in case rain disrupts high school graduation ceremonies. As it now stands, 380 John Tyler students will graduate at 7:30 tonight. At 7:30 tomorrow night, 526 Robert E Lee students are scheduled to get diplomas. Both graduation ceremonies are scheduled for Rose Stadium. In case of rain, alternate plans have been made, including the possibility of two graduation ceremonies at Rose Stadium on Sunday. As a last resort, it could be moved into Wagstaff Gym at T-J-C.
