Suspect Arrested Following SWAT Drug Raid

PALESTINE — Palestine Police have arrested a man Thursday morning following a drug raid and reportedly found an assortment of drugs. According to KETK, around 5:30, SWAT members raided a home on Eilenstein Street after an ongoing investigation into the sale of drugs from the location. Officers said they found 50 grams of cocaine, 29 grams of PCP, 43 grams of Ecstasy, 900 grams of codeine, 4 grams of methamphetamine, 1.5 grams of Xanax and over two pounds of marijuana. Officers also discovered a stolen firearm at the scene. The man was arrested for multiple charges relating to the drugs and stolen firearm. The name of the man is being withheld until he is arraigned.
