A news release from the Nacogdoches Police Department says 22 year old Chloe Love of Houston died at a Nacogdoches hospital Sunday afternoon. Love is said to have forced her way into an apartment last Wednesday and shot 23 year old Shermika Bolden. She was found dead on the floor of her bedroom. Police say, after shooting Bolden, Love then shot herself in the head.

When the shooting occurred, police had arrest warrants for both women. Bolden for misdemeanor assault and Love for misdemeanor harassment. Authorities say they believe that the two women had been involved in a romantic relationship at one point.

Officers had been called to the apartment about one hour prior to the shooting, on a criminal mischief complaint. Bolden had reported that she had been called several times during the night by Love and that a brick had been thrown through the front window of the residence. Bolden named Love as the suspect in the incident.
