Marijuana Field Found in Rusk County
Posted/updated on: August 26, 2016 at 8:47 pmHENDERSON – A joint investigation between the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office and the Henderson Police Department resulted in the seizure of nearly two dozen marijuana plants. The plants, that appear to have been cultivated and maintained, were found west of Henderson off County Road 424. KETK reports the plants, some as tall as 12 feet, were estimated to have a street value of around $20,000. The investigation into the discovery is continuing.
