Smith County Drowning Probed

LAKE PALESTINE – An autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of death of a woman whose body was found in Lake Palestine. She is identified as Madison Mccall, 21, of Dallas. Texas Parks and Wildlife Captain Quint Balkcom says she was reported missing on Monday. Her friends became concerned around 4:30pm. They contacted authorities around four hours later. They searched most of the night for her and resumed the search Tuesday morning. Her body was recovered shortly before 10:00am.
