Auto Theft Suspects Target Classic Vehicles
Posted/updated on: September 17, 2016 at 5:31 pmTYLER — The Tyler Police Department and the East Texas Auto Theft Task Force are investigating six classic vehicles that were stolen at different locations and times this past weekend in Tyler. Several suspects were caught on surveillance video hot-wiring the vehicles and driving them to an unknown location. The vehicles that were stolen are listed below:
1967 GMC truck valued at $38,000. (This truck was recovered the same morning abandoned in the eastern part of Smith County. Police believe it ran out of gas.)
1986 Chevrolet truck valued at $10,000.
1969 Chevrolet Chevelle valued at $39,000.
1986 Pontiac Parisienne valued at $10,000.
1985 Pontiac Parisienne valued at $5,000.
1985 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS valued at $15,000.

Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to arrests and charges filed against the suspects in this case or any felony case.
