Two Hopkins County Men Die in Two Accidents

EAST TEXAS – Two Sulphur Springs men were killed in area accidents over the weekend. A Sunday evening accident killed Michael Kenney, 49. Shortly after 6:00pm, his car left the road and hit a tree. The wreck occurred near the intersection of State Highway 154 and Farm Road 1567, north of Yantis.
In Franklin County, a motorcycle accident killed Lloyd Dwayne Fountain, 49. His 14 year old passenger was injured. The one vehicle accident occurred around 5:00 Saturday afternoon on Farm Road 900, south of Mount Vernon.
