Fatal Shooting Victim Identified

TYLER — Tyler Police continue to investigate an aggravated assault that left one man dead. It occurred shortly before 9:00 Wednesday night in a home near the intersection of Chelsea Drive and Pine Manor Drive. Laterrance Tremayne Cumbie, 29, of Tyler, died at a Tyler hospital where he had been taken for treatment of a gunshot wound. Police spokesman Don Martin says investigators believe the shooting was an isolated incident and was drug related.
