Obama Commutes Sentences of Four East Texans

WASHINGTON, D.C. — On Thursday, the White House announced President Obama commuted the sentences of 330 more people, including four East Texans. KETK reports Juan Garcia from Tyler had his prison sentence commuted to expire in May. He was arrested in Tennessee more than 8 years ago for drug-related charges. The 3 other East Texans were from Mabank, Kilgore, and Jefferson.
