Upshur County Victim Identified

GILMER – Upshur County authorities continue their investigation of a shooting death. Killed was Kendrick Lemichel Jackson, 29, of Pittsburg. It was reported shortly before 6:30 Tuesday night on Farm Road 1975, near the Lafayette community. This is about 13 miles northeast of Gilmer. He appeared to have died from a gunshot wound. No other information has been released, including the name of a possible suspect in the case.
