Man Jailed Following Traffic Stop, Cavity Search

LONGVIEW — A Longview man was arrested Thursday after police said they found drug paraphernalia and marijuana in his possession and a bottle of pills inside his person. According to KETK, Colton Tre-el Johnson, 24, was held Friday on bonds totaling $7,000, charged with possession of a controlled substance measuring less than 28 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana measuring less than 2 ounces. Police were called Thursday to Best Buy in the 400 block of West Loop 281 in reference to several people leaving with possibly stolen items. After stopping Johnson, police said they searched his vehicle and found less than 2 ounces of marijuana and a digital weight scale.

Johnson was arrested at 8:54 p.m. Thursday and taken to Good Shepherd Medical Center to get medically cleared, police said. After Johnson was strip searched, police said a pill bottle containing 27 Xanax pills was found inside his rectum.
