LUFKIN – Lufkin Police have arrested a former Hudson ISD kindergarten teacher on four Hudson ISD Police Department warrants for improper relationship between an educator and a student. Arrested just after noon on Saturday was Heather Robertson, 38. She had recently resigned after the allegations surfaced. Investigators say it appears that the incidents in question did not occur on school ground or during school hours. Her bond has been set at a collective $200,000 – $50,000 each of the second-degree-felony charges.

Pct. 1 Justice of the Peace Billy Ball set Robertson’s bond and bond conditions, some of which include:
-No contact with any of the victims in the case
-Cannot come within 300 yards of a Hudson ISD property
-Cannot be in the presence of a child under the age of 18 in a home or a vehicle without a person 21 years of age or older present
