Fire Death in Athens

ATHENS – One person has died in a Saturday night fire in Athens. It was reported shortly before 8:45pm at a two story home on East College Street. Early Sunday morning firemen found a man’s body in the debris. His name has not been released and an autopsy has been ordered. Fire officials do not suspect foul play. The cause of the fire has not been determined.
