City of Tyler Pursues Grant Funding

TYLER — Tyler’s City Council Wednesday learned of many grant funding opportunities representing over $13 million worth of programming and construction cost support over the next fiscal year. A number of grants have already been accepted. Tyler Pounds Regional Airport has accepted a large grant from the Federal Aviation Administration for the rehabilitation of Runway 4/22. Tyler Transit applied for and accepted two grants to support the city’s public transportation system.
