Firefighters Bid Farewell to Canine Friend

FLINT — The Flint-Gresham Volunteer Fire Department is mourning a loved one. “Flynt the Fire Dog” became a member of the team in 2004. According to KETK, the department says he died Wednesday morning. Department members say when calls came in, he would often beat the firefighters to the engine. Describing him as a friend to everyone, the firefighters say they will miss Flynt very much. Flynt will be laid to rest at the fire station, and a memorial will be placed in the near future.
