Tuition Going Up at UT Tyler
Posted/updated on: March 22, 2018 at 7:19 pmTYLER– Following approval by UT regents, resident student tuition at UT Tyler will go up 4.99 percent a year over the next two years. The regents recently approved such hikes for the Tyler school and other colleges around the state. UT Tyler had requested the tuition increase in December. At that time, UT Tyler President Dr. Michael Tidwell pointed to the importance of student success and the need for the resources necessary to make that happen. University officials note that some won’t be happy with any increase. But they say many students still see UT Tyler as the
best higher education value in East Texas.
