Most Wanted Fugitive from East Texas Arrested
Posted/updated on: June 22, 2018 at 6:23 amNACOGDOCHES — A Nacogdoches man who had just been added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list has been arrested. Jack Earl Sterns, Jr. was arrested Wednesday afternoon at a residence on Coleman Street in Nacogdoches. According to our news partner KETK, Sterns was affiliated with the Crips gang and was wanted for parole violation, aggravated robbery and evading arrest. Sterns had been wanted since December 2017. His criminal history includes aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, engaging in organized criminal activity, assault, unlawful carrying of a weapon, deadly conduct, evading arrest/detention and drug possession. The arrest was made after a tip was received by Nacogdoches Crime Stoppers.
