Senior quarterback Darian Godfrey passed for two touchdowns and ran for two more to lead the Gilmer Buckeyes to a 43-26 win over Abilene Wylie in the Class 3A Division I state championship game Saturday night at SMU's Ford Stadium in Dallas. Gilmer (15-0) won its second state championship in four title game appearances. The Buckeyes also won the Class 3A Division II title in 2004.
