<itunes:summary>KTBB Sports Director David Smoak has over two decades of experience covering sports in East Texas. A graduate of Tyler Junior College and Stephen F. Austin State University, David began his career in television, at KTRE-TV in Lufkin. He spent the first ten years of his career working in television full time, including what became a long stretch with KLTV-TV, Channel 7 (1984-1996). David began his radio career in January, 1990, and the rest is history. He became the host of his award-winning afternoon Sports Talk show, one of the longest running sports talk shows in the country. Sports Talk can be heard every weekday afternoon starting at 4:07pm on AM600 KTBB, AM1490 ESPN, and AM1430 KEES. David has also just recently launched his own website, "Smoaky.com", which includes a great deal of information on local sports, plus his very popular "The Smoak House Forum", where East Texans have another outlet to voice their opinion and knowledge.</itunes:summary>
