Former Whitehouse HS Quarterback Patrick Mahomes joins Bill Coates.

February 3, 2017

Patrick Mahomes is one of those athletes that can do nearly everything. In his high school career at Whitehouse, he played football, baseball and basketball. In football, he had 4,619 passing yards, 50 passing touchdowns, 948 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns as a senior. In baseball, he threw a no-hitter with 16 strikeouts in a game during his senior year. He was named the Maxpreps Male Athlete of the Year for 2013–2014.

Forgoing his last year of eligibility at Texas Tech, Mahomes announced in January that he would enter the 2017 NFL draft. He is expected to be drafted in the first round.

Patrick, together with NFL player agent Lee Steinberg, visited with Bill Coates Friday morning on Radio Row.
