Unlike previous Super Bowl Radio Rows, non-football celebrities have been in very short supply on Radio Row at Super Bowl XLVIII.

But finally — in the last hour of the last day — an honest-to-goodness real live celebrity showed up.

The last time the Dallas Cowboys played in a Super Bowl, the Roman numeral was simpler (XXX) and Hall of Fame wide receiver Michael Irvin played in it. Irvin visits on Radio Row with Bill Coates on the Cowboys as well as his pick for Super Bowl XLVIII.

The Big Game plays the Big Apple.

Some Super Bowls are bigger and better remembered than others. But when a Super Bowl comes to the Big Apple, it’s bound to be remembered regardless of what happens on the field. At Super Bowl XLVIII, Broadway between 34th and 47th became “Super Bowl Boulevard.”

Dallas Cowboys fans may not remember Joe Theismann kindly. He was the quarterback for the Washington Redskins during the height of the Cowboys/Redskins rivalry and he contributed to more than one unpleasant Sunday afternoon for Cowboys fans.

Wearing a championship ring earned in a Redskins victory over Miami in Super Bowl XVII, Theismann joined Bill Coates on Radio Row to talk about the old rivalry, the Cowboys of today, Jerry Jones, the current controversy surrounding the name of his former team, Johnny Manziel, RGIII and much more.

KTBB went to its first Super Bowl in 1993. In 1996, KTBB was on hand to see the Cowboys beat the Steelers in Super Bowl XXX.

KTBB has been to 18 Super Bowls since. The Cowboys haven’t been to one.
