  I’m a lifelong broadcaster, political conservative and a huge fan of a well-reasoned, well-written argument. For as long as I can remember, a portion of nearly every workday has been spent reading news, outlook and commentary.

  I used to clip good articles, copy them and mail them to friends and associates.

  Now, I’m happy to share what I read (and some of what I think) in this daily blog on ktbb.com.

• Author’s Note

  When I was a very young man trying to break in to the radio business, the dominant station in my hometown of Dallas was KLIF 1190 AM.

  The station was owned by radio pioneer Gordon McLendon and one of the things that it featured was editorials that McLendon himself wrote and voiced.

  McLendon's editorials were strictly a one-way street. There was no practical method by which listeners could agree or disagree.

  Today, broadcaster and listener can maintain a dialogue. And that's what this portion of ktbb.com is about.

  I'll put the proposition out there. You feel free to agree, disagree or amplify. This is YOUR forum. So YOU TELL ME.
