Tyler Garage Damaged by Fire

TYLER — Moderate damage has been reported to the garage of a Tyler home in a fire that was reported just before 6:30 Saturday afternoon. Firemen had the fire at 6149 Springbrook Drive under control in about twenty minutes. There was very little damage to the residence. No one was at home when the fire started and there were no injuries. Investigators say while the exact cause of ignition has yet to be determined, it is believed to have started in the area of a chair, which had some type of rags and combustibles on top of it.
