An Aggravated Sexual Assault Reported in Harrison County

MARSHALL – A report of an aggravated sexual assault is under investigation in Marshall. It is said to have occurred on the campus of Wiley College. The school’s Facebook page says the college and Marshall police are investigating the report. The Marshall Police Department’s Public information Officer, Kelly Colvin, said they responded to Wiley Avenue shortly after 6:00 Saturday evening. The school is offering counseling for any student who wants it. President Dr. Herman Felton says the individuals involved have been identified. No other details were released.
