Boil Water Notice Rescinded in Troup

TROUP — City officials announced late Thursday morning that it’s no longer necessary for Troup residents to boil their water. A boil notice had been issued Monday evening after a water main break. The situation temporarily shut down local schools. Officials said Thursday that the TCEQ has given residents the go-ahead to use the water for drinking, cooking, and making ice.
