Randy Stevenson Running for SBOE

TYLER — Tyler businessman Randy Stevenson has announced his intention to run for the District 9 seat on the State Board of Education, a seat he held during the 1990s. Stevenson is the owner of Stevenson Capital Wealth Management, a retirement planning and investment brokerage firm. As a former State Board member, Stevenson says he recognizes the hurdles facing the public education system in Texas and feels he can be part of the solution. �We have a challenge before us to stop the downward trend of the quality of education provided to the children of this great state,� says Stevenson.
