Congrats: ‘Queens’ star Eve announces she’s pregnant with her first child

ABC/Gavin BondCongrats are in order to Queens star Eve. The 42-year-old rapper-actress has announced she is expecting her first baby with husband Maximillion Cooper. Golden Globe Awards to be held on January 9

HFPAAfter a blistering racial controversy that saw its longtime broadcast partner NBC drop the annual show, the Golden Globe Awards are still happening. However, two big questions remain: Where will they be broadcast -- and even more importantly, will any celebs show up?  The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), the journalist organization that run the awards show, didn't answer those two questions, but said the 79th annual event will be held on January 9. The HFPA also released its deadlines for submissions, and say nominations will be revealed on December 13. Daredevil rushed to hospital after stunt goes seriously wrong on ‘America’s Got Talent: Extreme’

"AGT: Extreme" hosts - NBC/Eliza MorrisA contestant on NBC's spin-off America's Got Talent: Extreme was hospitalized Thursday evening after a stunt went terribly wrong.  A source for Freemantle Media, which produces the daredevil competition show, tells ABC Audio that escape artist Jonathan Goodwin was injured while performing his act. "He was responsive and was immediately taken to the hospital, where he is continuing to receive medical care," producers said in a statement. "Our thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family as we await further updates on his condition." Threat of massive Hollywood strike looms with Monday deadline

Shudder spotlighting Black filmmakers and writers for Halloween with ‘Horror Noire’

ShudderFor the second time, the thriller streaming service Shudder is highlighting Black writers and directors with a new horror anthology, Horror Noire.  A follow-up to 2019's documentary Black Noire: A History of Black Horror, Black Noire will feature six stories together in one two-hour presentation, each written and directed by Black filmmakers. Included in the anthology will be the installments Daddy, Bride Before You, Brand of Evil, The Lake, Sundown, and Fugue State. Ray J released from Miami hospital after battling pneumonia

The Love & Hip Hop Hollywood star is no longer using an inhaler and needing oxygen. As previously reported, last week the singer/actor was feeling positive about his recovery. "I appreciate all the love and support from everybody," Ray J said in a message that his manager, David Weintraub, shared with People. "Thank you for keeping me in your prayers, and I will be back up and running soon." Television Academy Foundation announces Alex Trebek Legacy Fellowship Fund

Productions/Sony Pictures TelevisionThe Television Academy Foundation, the charitable arm of the Television Academy, has announced the establishment of the Alex Trebek Legacy Fellowship Fund, in honor of the beloved Jeopardy! host who died of pancreatic cancer in 2020.  The foundation, launched with a gift of $50,000 from Jeopardy! Executive Producer Harry Friedman and his Harry & Judy Friedman Family Foundation, the fund will provide "a select number of need-based fellowships" to college and university educators.  The Alex Trebek Legacy Fellowships will fund these educators' participation in the Television Academy Foundation's annual Faculty Conference.
